The Japanese-built Tiida has been replaced by a Mexican-built version for the 2011 model year, the benefits of which include a lower price and more available features. Available as a 5-door hatchback or a 4-door sedan, the new-for-2011 Tiida is available with a standard 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine, with a 6-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic.
